Clean and cozy room, but shower didn’t work during my stay.

Nice place but noisy nights

We had a decent stay overall, but wow, the noise from the pub was way too much. It felt like a party down there! Breakfast was nice, though, my partner loved the full English. Just be careful if you're in room 101, trust me on that. Not the charm we were hoping for.

The location offers easy access to scenic walk routes and quaint village shops, providing a charming backdrop for exploration. The outdoor seating area features gazebos that cater to visitors enjoying food or drinks in the fresh air....  

Caught some delights at Catch Bistro & Wine Bar, and don’t miss Jemima's Kitchen for a wicked salad! Plus, the location's a peach, close to everything you need.

Had a cheeky moment when we thought we could fit an extra bed in our room—turns out, that was a no-go! But the staff sorted us out, so no harm done.

If you enjoy peaceful morning bird songs and quirky character, this place has it all. Arrive early to secure parking as it can be tricky!

The Bucks Head offered a charming atmosphere, with clean, comfortable rooms and easy access to the dining area, making it very accommodating for seniors. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout my stay....

The room lacked some essential amenities that I expected.

I appreciated how comfortable and clean the rooms were. The charming atmosphere made it easy to relax. Staff showed a welcoming attitude throughout my stay. I found everything I needed within walking distance. parking was a hassle. I had to remember to pay early in the morning. A better parking arrangement would greatly improve the experience. Breakfast was not included in my stay, which didn’t sit well with me. Still, I enjoyed the dining at the pub next door. Fairly large room with a well-equipped bathroom. I found the location excellent for exploring.

my stay at bucks head bed & breakfast was delightful! the double room was clean and cozy, with tea and coffee facilities and bottled water. the location is perfect, right in the middle of everything, making it easy to explore. the staff made me feel...  

This place suits me perfectly with a great restaurant, comfortable flat-screen TV, and convenient electric kettle. The staff once brought me a cold drink during a hot day, which I really appreciated. I'll be back for Easter!...  

Charming traditional décor, creating a cozy pub atmosphere. Evening meals stand out, especially the Sunday roast packed with delicious trimmings and generous portions.

The bedding felt lacking, with outdated quilts and pillows on the harder side for comfort. The windows seemed positioned awkwardly, overlooking the smoking area, which might not appeal to everyone. if you're hoping for breakfast, be mindful of the cafe's late opening time—9:30 is quite late to start the day. Wi-Fi access seems exclusively tied to the bar's hours, so plan ahead if you rely on internet connectivity.

The dining area offered a warm, cozy atmosphere, perfect for a winter evening. The steak was exceptionally cooked, showcasing local meats, while the gammon steak provided a hearty option. the toast served with the pate was unimpressive, and the overall decor felt dated and in need of an upgrade.
